With the end of summer nearing, I’ve been wondering what’s in store for Australian fashion this winter. Typically I look to the U.K and U.S for inspiration on upcoming trends, but I’ve got to say Australia’s fashion scene has picked up its game – well street fashion has at least. This summer Australia’s seen tons of floral prints , paisley prints, lace and crotchet being put together to craft outfits with free-spirited boho vibes… A trend that’s spreading across the globe. But does that make Australia the trend setter? I’ve seen the U.K and U.S winter trends and I’m not impressed! There’s just nothing exciting about it – so hopefully Australia won’t disappoint! Seriously hoping that the gypsy trend continues into winter… But anyway, I’m going to the General Pants Co. AW15 collection preview next week and I’ll take snaps of the best trends I see so watch this space. In the mean time, catch up with me on Instagram and I’d love to hear your wardrobe plans for winter so drop me a line below!

P.s I fully forgot to say something about the outfit above so – the playsuit is an imitation (with a WAY lower price) of Alice McCall’s At First Sight Playsuit. Super duper comfy and super duper cute!

Has anyone heard of the #100HappyDays challenge? Has anyone actually done it? I’ve been thinking about taking on the challenge for a while now. For those that haven’t heard of it, the challenge is to post a picture on Instagram of something that makes you happy every day for 100 days and hashtag #100HappyDays. The team at 100HappyDays claim that 71% people that failed the challenge quoted a lack of time as the main reason. I’m totally guilty of this! I haven’t even given it a shot and I’m already telling myself I don’t have enough time to try. But do we really not have enough time to be happy for 100 days? This year I want to take a big step back and take the time to appreciate the little things in life that bring happiness. Not just that but I want to stop procrastinating and start doing! And I challenge you to join me… Got something you’ve been wanting to do?

I recently stumbled upon this amazing concept store when searching for some interior design inspiration. The Loft is a periodically reoccurring pop up store in Amsterdam. The beautifully decorated room features fine craftsmanship and natural materials, providing endless inspiration for dwellers looking to create a home space with a unique rustic vibe.

Everything in The Loft is available for purchase and I mean everything! From the furniture to the lighting fixtures, the fireplace or the plants – whatever you see, you can buy! If only it were in Sydney… Continue reading →

Happy New Year! Wishing you all so much love, light and magic for 2015. This year is certainly going to be exciting now that I’ve finished my degree. I’m definitely going to miss the flexibility and time-off that comes with being a student, so this year one of my goals is to never waste a second of my free time. I think a lot of people fail to achieve their goals simply due to poor time management skills. But not me…not this year! I have a feeling this year will be full of achievement for all of us – I’d love to hear what goals you’ve planned for 2015 and what you all do in your spare time! Drop a comment and let me know.

I’m so happy I finally got to meet up with Bec from Azure Mysterious. I really love the shoots she’s done in gardens and how she makes everything look magical, so we shot this one in the beautiful botanic gardens by Sydney harbour. With the Christmas nearing and wallets being emptied on gifts for loved ones, I thought I’d do another affordable look post. The navy blue kimono and lace shorts are both from Sheinside and go for about $10 each. Typically I wouldn’t expect much from clothing that’s really cheap but these shorts actually feel nice and are super comfy! They’ve now become one of my staple bottoms for this summer. The kimono material is a bit thin for my liking but it looks amazing and the colour is so much more stunning in person. I will say though, the low price tag comes with a cost… Shipping took FOREVER and customer service wasn’t great. None the less I would buy from Sheinside again if there was something I wouldn’t mind waiting for. Haha. Keen to hear where you do your discount shopping…Let me know in the comments!
